Internships

Through my diverse internships, I have gained hands-on experience across multiple industries, from technology and healthcare to social impact and manufacturing. At Ernst & Young, I supported robotics, generative AI, and next-gen technology use cases, collaborating with cross-functional teams to create storyboards for innovative solutions. At NephroPlus, I contributed to international mergers and acquisitions, financial analysis, and the development of a valuation framework aimed at expanding rural healthcare access, while also advancing the company's sustainability initiatives. Additionally, at JPL Private Limited, I helped secure bank funding for the company’s expansion and supported the development of an ESG framework, enhancing corporate responsibility and sustainability. These roles have strengthened my ability to navigate complex challenges, blending financial acumen, technological innovation, and social impact. Below, you can see examples of online projects I completed during these internships and the impact they made.

Strategic IPO Roadmap Development for NephroPlus

During my internship, our company was preparing for its Initial Public Offering (IPO). I was part of a big team, but I quickly became the go-to person for the core team because I was eager to learn and worked hard.

I was curious about how IPOs work, from finance to legal and compliance. So, I jumped in and learned as much as I could. Our team's goal was to create a clear plan for the IPO launch.

We developed a detailed roadmap, outlining every step involved in launching the IPO successfully. But before that, we needed to assess how ready our different departments were.

That's where our comprehensive questionnaire came in. We created it to evaluate the maturity and readiness of various functions, like Finance, HR, ESG, Legal, and Compliance. We conducted workshops to ensure everyone was on the same page.

The questionnaire helped us identify areas that needed improvement. We then updated our roadmap to address those gaps.

The final report was a huge success! It gave the IPO team a new perspective, and stakeholders loved it. Seeing my contributions make a real difference was amazing.

I developed a series of innovative prototypes using low-code/no-code platforms such as Power Automate and Alteryx to streamline the visualization of center-level profit and loss data. By structuring this data into dynamic tables and dashboards, I enabled senior leaders, including CFOs and CEOs, to easily visualize financial performance across multiple dimensions, allowing them to test hypotheses and explore various strategic scenarios in real-time. This capability significantly improved the speed and quality of decision-making on critical business matters. In particular, the use of AI and robotics within these financial dashboards demonstrated the potential of next-gen technologies to revolutionize financial analytics, transforming complex data into actionable insights. My work not only optimized profitability but also earned recognition for its value in driving innovation and enhancing business outcomes at a strategic level.

My internship at JPL Private Limited, a top steel manufacturer in India, was an incredible experience. From March 2023 to February 2024, I played a key role in shaping the company's future.

First, I helped create a business model and project proposal that secured crucial funding from banks for the company's expansion plans. It was amazing to see how our teamwork paid off, enabling JPL to grow and create new opportunities.

But that wasn't all. I also contributed to developing an Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) framework. This ensured JPL aligned with sustainability goals, like reducing carbon footprint and promoting social responsibility.
